Public Notice: Temporary Suspension of Scheduled Flight Services for Most Routes, Transition to Charter‑Only Operations

Dear valued passengers and business partners,

East Asia Airlines Limited (EAA) would like to issue an important service update.

Effective 1 September 2026, East Asia Airlines will formally transition to a charter‑only operating model for most routes, and scheduled helicopter flight services for all routes except Macau‑Shenzhen will be temporarily suspended. This decision reflects evolving market conditions and the Company’s strategy to align its activities with current market demand and maintain an efficient and sustainable business structure. The shift also takes into account the upcoming relocation of Macau Heliport to the new heliport at Macau International Airport Terminal 2. Please note that the Macau‑Shenzhen route will remain in operation as a scheduled flight service and is excluded from this suspension.

From 1 September 2026, charter services will operate five days per week. While scheduled services on other routes are paused, we will continue to provide professional on‑demand charter services including cross‑border business charters, Macau sightseeing charters and customised helicopter flight experiences across the Greater Bay Area, in addition to the ongoing Macau‑Shenzhen scheduled flights.

This represents a strategic adjustment to the Company’s business model. East Asia Airlines remains committed to the highest standards of aviation safety, operational integrity and regulatory compliance, and will continue to work closely with its customers, charter partners, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders throughout this transition.
